Daniel Craig will continue playing James Bond – at least in the next movie – the actor has confirmed himself.
Craig announced on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday that he will be returning as James Bond and this is in stark contrast to his previous stand when he said he wants to stop playing the spy on a high note.
“I have been quite cagey about it. I have been doing interviews all day and people have been asking me and I think I’ve been rather coy. But kind of felt like if I was going to speak the truth I should speak truth to you,” Craig said.
“We could use some good news here. Daniel Craig, will you return as James Bond?” Colbert then asked. The actor replied, “Yes.” Craig also revealed that this could be his last time as James Bond and that he wants to end it on a high note.
